For admission to the Faculty a pass with credit grades is required in seven subjects of the Secondary School Certificate (Science Section), in one certificate, one index number and for the same specified year.

For M. Pharm. or M.Sc. degree candidates must have obtained B. Pharm. Honours degree from the University of Khartoum or its equivalent. Graduates with the B. Pharm. general degree are required to pass a qualifying examination.

For Ph.D. degree candidates must have completed the M. Pharm. or the M.Sc. Degree and it is awarded by research.
