manage endemic and epidemic diseases as well as nutritional and
other major health problems in the Sudan, at the level of the
individual, the family and the community. |

Appreciate the
interactions between the individual, community and the
environment in order to practice his role in the management and
prevention of disease. |

Apply clinical
skills and perform relevant laboratory procedures for purposes
of diagnosis and management of disease. |

Manage
surgical, obstetrical and medical emergencies commonly
encouraged in medical practice in the Sudan. |

Understand the
basic structure, function, growth and development of the human
body, and appreciate the integrated functions of the body and mind
which make up the human individual and understand the basic
structure and function of the community in order to achieve the
forgoing goals. |

Appreciate the
role of the various members of the health team in order to lead,
supervise, teach and work in harmony with them.

Appreciate the
constrains imposed personnel and financial resources in the
delivery of health care in order to work out priorities.

ability of independent learning in order to continue his
education and contribute to the progress of medicine in the
field of research and postgraduate training. |

standard of medical ethics .and responsibility and be modest,
honest and symphonic in dealing with patients and their
