To apply for a sabbatical leave  a staff member fills a form and submits it through the Departmental Board and the Dean of the Faculty. The sabbatical leave is finally approved by the Council for Scientific Research and Cultural Relations and the Vice-Chancellor. The sabbatical leave is usually taken between the beginning of January and end of December of each year.
